At Handy Hammer Home Repair we love to paint We paint a lot! Much of our interior painting is for landlords and their vacant rental properties with tenant turnovers. As well we paint for plenty of homeowners, home sellers and new home buyer move in’s.
The quality paint job shows in the finished paint job because we work with the customer to get to the best product on the walls within the customer budget. We primarily use Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams paints.
We rarely use flat paints and we don’t water down our paint like some painters. Our go to finishes are eg-shell, satin and pearl. We believe those finishes are more durable and provide for a better long lasting paint job.
Basic paints contain a lot of clay so we don’t use them. In many of our painting jobs our go to paints are Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec and Regal Select, Sherwin Williams Cashmere and Sherwin Williams Super Paints. These cost a bit more but the durability and longevity of the paint job is worth it.
Our painting services operate under a separate company named Handy Hammer Home Repair. Handy Hammer Home Repair is registered in New Jersey as a Home Improvement Contractor and maintaines 2 million dollars in general liability insurance. Handy Hammer is a full service home improvement contractior and handyman service for homeowners and landlords.

The most common two levels of paint services are: Rental or Owner Occupied.
–Owner occupied painting is per free on-site quore.
–Base prices for painting a vacant rental with 8′ ceilings are as follows: (labor only)

1 Bedroom Ceiling $ 100.00
1 Bedroom Baseboards, Jambs $ 110.00
1 Bedroom Door Face – $ 50.00 per face
